Phosphorylation is among the most widespread post-translational modifications in nature, and it has been estimated that more than 30% of the proteins in a given mammalian cell at some point during their expression are phosphorylated. Phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of proteins regulates a large number of biological processes such as signal transduction, molecular recognition and interaction, and other cellular events. Phosphoproteome mapping can be challenging due to low abundance, dynamic and much less ionization efficiency.
The Preciex® Phosphopeptide enrichment tip column uses a TiO2 Resin with optimized protocol and buffers resulting in a higher yield of phosphopeptides ready for direct MS analysis without the need for additional clean up. It enhances the ability to routinely identify and characterize large numbers of phosphorylated species within complex protein mixtures.
Process of use: centrifugation, vacuum, positive pressure.
Formats: 10µL and 200µL.

*200µL tips are available for different Liquid Handling Automation systems (Zymark, Multiprobe, Tecan, Hamilton, Gilson, Qiagen, and many more) without any further adaptor needed.
